Shomik is a Partner at boldstart and has over 6 years of venture investing in enterprise software. He’s experienced all the highs and lows of the entrepreneurial journey from IPOs and acquisitions to a failed startup. And is uniquely positioned to help pre-product enterprise startups.
Prior to boldstart, Shomik worked as a growth stage investor at Top Tier Capital where he invested in companies like CircleCI, Anaplan, Area 1 Security, and Shape Security. He joined the boldstart team in November 2019, because of the people! The boldstart team is full of consummate learners committed to supporting each other and serving our founders. Fun boldstart story:
The first time he met the boldstart team (in particular Ed & Eliot) was while they were taking over portfolio company’s conference rooms at Kustomer and Security Scorecard. Everyone was rushing around trying to find a room for sales calls and thankfully no matter what, there was always a room blocked off for us 😄
